SON OF JOSEPH CARL DAVIS & INEZ NAGEL DAVIS.
HUSBAND TO RUTH CRAIG DAVIS.
BROTHER OF JOSEPH CLARK DAVIS& ALLEN NORWOOD SMITH DAVIS.
NO CHILDREN.
He loved to boat on the river, raise Christmas Trees, raise and care for Collie Dogs. He loved Fredricktown and
his good friends like Hans Hacker (the painter) and Grant Stover. He was a good husband, a good brother, a good son, and a wonderful UNCLE!
He had many interests and for a large man, he was kind-hearted. He helped care for Jackman Cemetery (which was located adjacent to his farm)
He loved his dogs. He had a very hard life after his father died.
He was a sleep-walker and was not able to join the forces in WW2. He worked in the steel mills to support the war effort. His end came as he sat at the breakfast table with his wife. She asked him a question.. he paused, sighed, and
went to be with God. (sudden burst aneurysm )

If God Allows Gentlemen into heaven..he is surely there.
